South Pacific

South Pacific

Rodgers and Hammerstein's "South Pacific" was another hugely successful show in 2011. Yaacov Amsellem and David Waldmann once again took the reins as Director and Musical Director and new mother Keshet Margolis-Stein was assisted as Choreographer very ably by Laora Naggan. Myra Bennett's sets recreated a wartime Pacific island complete with Nissen Huts and palm trees which together with Melanie Lombard's beautifully colourful costumes and Yardena Alkan's backdrop, did their magic and created the perfect setting for this very popular show. The cast which included many new faces as well as the LOGON stalwarts provided the mixture of Music, Dance and Drama that left the audiences humming the tunes albeit with a tear in their eye.
