To open the new millenium, LOGON chose to produce the Time Magazine Poll's best musical of the century, Rodgers and Hammerstein's dramatic musical "Carousel".
This was Rosa Howden's directorial debut, in addition to her role as Choreographer, David Waldmann continuing as Musical Director. The show was produced by Bob Gilmour and Stephen Howden, assisted by Paul Hare, and Beenah Ravins took on the role of Stage Manager.
Although including some comic moments, this show in the main deals with serious and sometimes tragic subject matter: unemployment, domestic violence, criminality and death, culminating with the dramatic anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone".
LOGON, however, rose to the challenge and proved that we and our appreciative audiences could handle a show that was a little different from our normal fare.
